• The IMS, provides professional status and recognition through designatory letters, the option to study for certificate and diploma courses and subscription (including free career advertising for members) to the journals.
• There are various levels of membership based on qualifications held, knowledge, skill and experience (K.S.E.) and position.
• The professional diplomas and membership diplomas of each body are qualifications in their own right and are recognised as professional qualifications.
